Carphone Warehouse is a UK-based retailer for smartphones and other gadgets. The company accidentally went live early with its promo pages for the Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. Though the company quickly took the pages down, the internet had already gained the information it needed. Now the service manuals for the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 pro have also become available. Leaving little to no surprises associated with the phones.

What we know about the Pixel 6 and 6 pro
1) The Camera gets a major upgrade
Both the Pixel 6 and 6 pro will get upgraded 50 megapixel cameras. the cameras are capable of letting in 150% more light. The pro model of the pixel will have a telephoto lens. This lens will be able to achieve 4X optical zoom and 20X super-resolution zoom. The cameras will have a 12MP ultra-wide sensor. The phones will also have two new camera features i.e. Magic Eraser and Face Unblur. Magic Eraser will allow users to remove photobombers and unwanted objects from their photos fairly easily. While Face Unblur will help make blurry photos sharper.
2) Screen refresh rates
One difference between the Pixel 6 and the pro model will be the screen refresh rate. The page for the Pixel 6 pro specifically highlighted that it would have a 120Hz panel. The regular Pixel 6 only mentioned that it would have a high refresh rate and a smooth display. We can infer from this language that the regular pixel will not have the 12o refresh rate that many users have gotten used to with flagship phones.
3) Improved battery life
A common criticism of the Pixel 4 was it limited battery life. The company addressed these concerns with the Pixel 5 and it seems is going even further with the Pixel 6. Both pages for the phone mentioned that they have "all-day battery life". It seems that the pro version will have higher performance as the language on the promo page specifically mentioned, "“allocates power to the apps you use most to last beyond 24 hours even on 5G.” The second leak of the phone's service manuals reveal that the 6 Pro will have a 4,614 mAh battery. The regular Pixel 6 will have a battery that is 389 mAh smaller.
Google has had a unique approach to the reveal of the Pixel 6. Usually phone manufacturers are very secretive about the specifications and features of their upcoming models. Google however revealed many of the features about the Pixel on its Twitter thread back in August. Further announcements are expected to come on October 19th. However, with two leaks, there is not much left that the company can reveal.
